I thought I would share a couple of highlights of the past couple of weeks. One afternoon we came home to find a fish bowl full of sand and paper fish in it. As you can see from the smile on our son's face, it was an invitation to MORP. He was excited, this will be his first school dance since turning 16. (I didn't get my camera fast enough to take pictures of it before he started taking it all apart, it was really cute!)
This note was burried in the bottom of the bowl...
He had to get all the fish out of the sand...
and then unscramble the letters to find out who was asking him to go. It took us nearly all night, with the help of his friend to figure it out.
Once he figured it out, this was how he answered her. He filled a fish bowl with glass rocks and live fish with a note attached.
As you can see there was a letter on each rock. We put random letters on all of them except for 3. Those 3 had the letters Y, E, and S on them. She had to get all the rocks out and unscramble them to find the answer YES! These kids are so clever and fun...
The other highlight is my recent calling to serve as 1st counselor in the Young Women's program in our church. I get to work with these fabulous ladies and girls! We recently took them to the construction site of the Gilbert Arizona temple. It was a great experience as we talked about the temple and what it means to each of us. These are some really amazing young women and I am blessed to be associated with them!
